Accessibility at MunicipalReady

Accessibility Statement

MunicipalReady is committed to providing a website that is usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.

Last reviewed October 10, 2026

Accessibility is an ongoing part of the work.

We design, test, review, and maintain this website with accessibility in mind. Our goal is to make MunicipalReady easier to use with assistive technologies, keyboard navigation, screen readers, magnification, and a wide range of devices and browsers.

Accessibility is not a one-time project. Websites, content, technology, and accessibility standards continue to evolve, so we treat accessibility as an ongoing process of review and improvement.

The standard we work toward

MunicipalReady uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1 Level AA as a practical accessibility benchmark for this website.

These guidelines address areas such as text alternatives, color contrast, keyboard access, meaningful structure, form labels, focus visibility, navigation, and support for assistive technology.

A note about accessibility claims

No website can reasonably be represented as permanently or absolutely accessible in every circumstance. MunicipalReady does not claim to legally certify or guarantee accessibility or ADA compliance. We work to design, test, remediate, and maintain digital content toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements.

What we do to support accessibility

Our accessibility efforts may include:

  • Using semantic headings and meaningful page structure.
  • Supporting keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Reviewing color contrast and text readability.
  • Creating forms with labels, instructions, and clear error messaging.
  • Testing interactive elements such as menus, buttons, dialogs, and links.
  • Reviewing content using automated and manual accessibility-testing methods.
  • Continuing to address accessibility issues as the site changes over time.

Third-party content and technology

This website may occasionally link to or use technology provided by third parties. We do not control every aspect of third-party websites, embedded services, browser software, or assistive technologies.

When practical, we work to select and configure third-party tools with accessibility in mind and to identify alternatives when a third-party service creates an accessibility barrier.

Having difficulty using this site?

If you encounter an accessibility problem, have difficulty accessing information, or need information in another format, please let us know.

When reporting an issue, it is helpful to include the page you were using, a short description of the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if known.
