Privacy at MunicipalReady

Privacy & Cookies

We believe privacy information should be understandable, accessible, and easy to act on. This page explains what information MunicipalReady may collect, how we use it, how optional website technologies work, and the choices available to you.

Last updated October 10, 2026

Privacy without the unnecessary pop-up.

MunicipalReady uses necessary website technology to operate the site and may use optional analytics or advertising technologies to understand website use and measure marketing efforts.

Instead of interrupting every visitor with a large cookie banner, we provide persistent Privacy Choices that let you control optional tracking whenever you want.

01

Information we may collect

The information we receive depends on how you interact with MunicipalReady.

Information you provide

If you submit a contact form, request information, request a website review, or otherwise communicate with us, we may receive information such as:

  • Your name and contact information.
  • The municipality, organization, or public entity you represent.
  • Information you provide about your website, digital content, accessibility needs, or requested services.
  • Messages, questions, files, or other information you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically

Our website and the services that support it may automatically receive limited technical information such as your browser type, device type, referring page, approximate geographic area, pages viewed, IP address, and website-performance or security information.

If optional analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, additional information about website interactions may also be collected as described below.

02

Cookies and website technology

The word cookie is commonly used to describe several technologies that websites use to remember information. MunicipalReady may use browser cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, or similar technologies depending on the function involved.

Always Active

Necessary

Supports website operation, security, forms, accessibility, preference storage, and other functions needed for the site to work properly.

Your Choice

Analytics

Helps us understand website traffic, page use, navigation, performance, and how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it.

Your Choice

Advertising & Personalization

May be used to measure advertising, understand whether marketing leads to website visits, or support advertising and personalization across websites or services.

Necessary technology

Necessary technologies cannot be disabled through our Privacy Choices tool because they support functions such as security, form operation, accessibility, preference storage, and basic website functionality.

Analytics

MunicipalReady may use analytics services such as Google Analytics to understand how the website is used. When analytics is enabled, these services may receive information about visits, devices, traffic sources, and website interactions.

Advertising and personalization

MunicipalReady may use advertising or measurement technologies such as Google advertising tools or the Meta Pixel. These technologies may be used to measure campaign performance or support advertising across websites.

Some state privacy laws use broad definitions of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising that can include certain advertising technologies even when personal information is not sold for money.

03

Your Privacy Choices

MunicipalReady provides a persistent Privacy Choices control rather than requiring every visitor to interact with a large cookie banner.

Through Privacy Choices, you can independently control:

  • Analytics.
  • Advertising & Personalization.

Your selection is stored in your browser so the website can remember your preference. Clearing browser storage, using another browser, or using another device may require you to make the selection again.

Review your settings

You can change optional website tracking choices at any time.

Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control, or GPC, is a browser-based signal that communicates certain privacy opt-out preferences. Where our website detects a GPC signal, MunicipalReady's privacy system treats that signal as an opt-out of Advertising & Personalization processing associated with sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

GPC does not automatically turn off ordinary website analytics in our system. Analytics can be separately controlled through Privacy Choices.

04

How information may be used and shared

MunicipalReady may use information to:

  • Respond to questions and service requests.
  • Provide requested services or information.
  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
  • Diagnose technical or security problems.
  • Understand website use and marketing performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, security, and integrity of MunicipalReady, our users, and others.

Service providers

We may provide limited information to service providers that help operate our website or business, such as website hosting, form processing, security, analytics, advertising measurement, or other technology providers.

These providers may process information according to their role in providing those services and their applicable contractual or legal obligations.

Selling personal information

MunicipalReady does not sell personal information for money.

However, because some privacy laws define the terms sale or sharing more broadly, certain advertising or cross-site technologies may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity under applicable law. Our Privacy Choices system provides a way to opt out of those optional technologies.

05

State privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to MunicipalReady, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information.

Those rights may include the ability to:

  • Confirm whether personal information about you is being processed.
  • Request access to certain personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Request deletion of certain personal information.
  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling, where applicable.
  • Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
  • Exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination.

California residents

California law may provide qualifying consumers with rights that include knowing about personal information collected, correcting or deleting certain information, opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information, limiting certain uses of sensitive personal information, and exercising privacy rights without discriminatory treatment.

MunicipalReady does not sell personal information for money. If optional advertising technologies are used in a way that qualifies as selling or sharing under California law, you can use Privacy Choices to turn off Advertising & Personalization.

Other states

Residents of states with applicable consumer privacy laws may have similar rights, including rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or certain profiling.

Privacy rights and business obligations vary by state and may depend on legal thresholds and other requirements. Nothing on this page is intended to represent that every state privacy law applies to MunicipalReady.

Submitting a privacy request

If you want to make a request concerning personal information you believe MunicipalReady maintains about you, please use our contact form and identify the request as a Privacy Request.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Some requests may also be subject to exceptions allowed by applicable law.

Submit a privacy request through our contact form

MunicipalReady voluntarily provides accessible privacy controls to website visitors. Providing a particular privacy choice does not necessarily mean a specific state privacy statute applies to MunicipalReady or to a particular visitor.

06
